Christine Carlson | Assistant Account Executive
Christine Carlson is an assistant account executive at the Subudhi Consulting Group. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina. She earned a B.A. in Journalism, with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Business Administration. Christine has worked in the field of public relations since January of 2006. She first recognized her passion for public relations while acting as communications intern for the Mitt Romney for President Campaign in South Carolina. While working on the campaign, she implemented tactics to increase local awareness of the candidate, built and maintained supporter databases and networks, and increased the supporter database by 300 individuals. Most recently, Christine served as communications coordinator at Americans for Prosperity where she drafted press releases and maintained a media contact database. Prior to this experience, she was a marketing intern at the Colonial Center where she executed promotional activities and assisted with media relations. She was also a research specialist at the National Bateman Team Competition where she developed and implemented a public relations campaign for Safe Kids Buckle Up.
While at the University of South Carolina, Christine was an active member in several organizations including the Public Relations Student Society of America, International Association of Business Communicators, Student Advertising Federation, as well as a number of honor societies including Kappa Tau Alpha, a national journalism and mass communications honor society.
