On April 28-30, SCG will be attending the XXV Reunion Iberoamericana de Tráfico Internacional in Miami with client, NTT America.  NTT America is hosting the event in-conjunction with AHCIET, a prestigious, non-profit association of more than 50 Latin American and Spanish telecommunications operator companies.

The Miami event marks the first time that this biannual event will be held in the United States.  Influential international telecom executives from the global carrier community are joining together to identify, discuss and negotiate new global business opportunities around the growth of the Internet, particularly due to Internet traffic trends in Latin America.

TeleGeography Research recently noted that Latin America is a very attractive market for international carriers.  In fact, international Internet traffic to and from Latin America grew 120 percent in 2008, more than twice the global average.

NTT America will be joining telecom executives from companies such as Orbitel, Telefonica, XO Communications, Juniper, Amazon and NTT DOCOMO USA.
