NEW YORK–(EON: Enhanced Online News)–NTT America, a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com), and a global IP network services provider, today announced the company’s Global IP Network Business Unit Vice President, Michael Wheeler, will speak at the Digital Hollywood Spring conference at The Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel in Santa Monica, California. Digital Hollywood, one of the premier entertainment and technology conferences in the country, brings together executives from the film, television, music, home video, cable, telecommunications and computing industries. A leading provider of enterprise hosting, managed network and global IP networking services, NTT America has unique insight into how digital entertainment executives and content decision makers can cost effectively and productively deploy next generation services and applications to support growth and additional revenue opportunities.

Mr. Wheeler will join industry leaders on the panel, “Content Delivery—Rich Media—The Three Screen Challenge: PC, TV and Mobile,” which will take place as part of the “Strategic Investigation—Drill Down Day” on Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. PDT. The integration of the IPTV and TV experience with the full power of new consumer technologies – from broadband to mobile – opens the door to not only a unique world of entertainment and information, it brings to the table a next generation idea of full consumer interactivity within the PC-Mobile-TV experience. Via the NTT Com Global IP Network, NTT America delivers and anticipates network performance solutions for companies in the content delivery, entertainment and media industries, where consumer demand for high-definition video and rich media content online is growing at unprecedented rates.

“We are looking forward to Mr. Wheeler’s participation at Digital Hollywood Spring,” said Victor Harwood, president and CEO of Digital Hollywood. “As a key player in the deployment of next generation services and applications, NTT America supports the future of content delivery and brings a unique perspective to the conversation.”

During the panel, Mr. Wheeler will address opportunities for media and entertainment companies seeking optimal network architecture for content distribution and delivery worldwide. He will talk about why flexibility in bandwidth, connections and pricing are fundamental to containing costs. He will discuss network infrastructure benefits (speed, reliability, security and quality) that are essential for the successful delivery of new applications, such as PC-TV, that give entertainment executives new distribution channels for existing content as well as new opportunities for advertising revenue. Mr. Wheeler will also give a glimpse into the future, touching on how new advances in IPv6 and 100GigE provide a platform to give broadcasters a competitive advantage.

In his role as vice president, Mr. Wheeler is responsible for leading the Global IP Network Business Unit, including all facets of finance, engineering and customer relations. The Global IP Network (GIN) Business Unit operates one of the leading Global Tier-1 Internet backbones and offers direct IP transit connections to telecommunications companies, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), content providers, Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), enterprises and Web hosting companies. Agency Makes a “Superior” Move

Monday, February 9th, 2009

SCG is excited to be moving into our new office space on the atrium of the Superior Production Exchange Building. The spacious location is the perfect fit for the Subudhi Consulting Group as we continue to grow.

The team has been working in two different offices for awhile, so we are really looking forward to the opportunity to be working together in one location. Although Ridley, the agency dog, has adjusted well to each space, we think he’ll finally be satisfied when he doesn’t have to move around the building to visit.

The painters finished the suite this week. We choose Homestead Resort Sunwash with Moss green accent walls to add some zest. The colors brightened up the space, making it look even larger than before.
